Another pretty simple combo:
Palm Strike > dual of your choice (best Twisting Fangs); Black Lotus Strike | Golden Phoenix Strike > another dual of your choice (Critical Strike if you are running Crit Def, or Death Blossom otherwise).
The point here is that you have two off-hand attacks and two duals ready, so if one fails or is on cool-down, you have the next one ready. You need to have an enchant or a hex ready depending on if you use GPS or BLS. This way you are less likely to mess up your chain.
If you want to be able to hit multiple targets, then GPS and Critical is the way to go (for 8 second cooldown). Otherwise its 12 seconds for Palm Strike>Death blossom.

Crippling Dagger > Dancing Daggers > Jungle Strike > Twisting Fangs>Assassin's Promise
Again...if you want to use Assassin's Promise and therefore want to utilize damaging attacks from Deadly Arts tree. Low-energy, low cooldown. Starting from range so you can choose the best time to jump into the melee. You are always ready for attack.
Another different combo for PvE:
Enchantment> Golden Phoenix Strike > Blinding Powder > Signet of Darknes > Twisting Fangs > Assassin’s Promise. This will do high damage quickly while preventing melee opponent from damaging you. Again, don’t need much invested in Critical. I tend to like this better than Hex>BLS because GPS has a smaller cool-down for just in-case something misses.

my favorite combos are
leaping mantis sting - jungle strike - death blossom - moebius strike - death blossom (most direct damage)
leaping mantis sting - temple strike - twisting fangs (5 conditions)
also i often bring dash in my skillbar to catch up with kiters and continue my combo. (insert it anytime before or after a dagger attack)

Also, something I don't really get is why people seem to put a high priority on KDs. It delays action by, what...2 seconds or so? I understand that this could be good against spell casters though.

To answer your first question, I don't like Horns of the Ox because it requires an enemy to be isolated, which often is not the case. To answer your second question, assasssins don't put high priority on KD for the sake of KD. All these builds use KD so they can use Falling Spider, which only works on an enemy that is knocked down.

Of course you do, silly
Get zealous daggers, put 16 in critical stirkes, use Critical Eye and it's impossible to run out of energy

I used to use Flashing Blades in PvE, but now I use AoD, much better IMO. My build is:
15 Dagger Mastery
13 Critical Strikes
8 Shadow Arts
AoD
Golden Phoenix Strike
Horns of the Ox
Falling Spider
Twisting Fangs
Shadow Refuge
Dark Escape
Rez

well i use this build allaince battles its mostly for spell caster
skill set
unspecting strike,temple srtike{e},twisting fangs,crippling dagger,shadow refuge,healing breeze and fox fangs.
well during battles if i see running enemy ill use crippling daggers and then ill use unspecting strike as lead. If there a spell caster ill use temple strike to daze them and finish them off with twisting fangs. I use fox fangs to replace temple strike while it's recharging or if I dont have the energy for it. Use healing breeze and shadow refuge when needed.

Question: if you are going to go with repeating strike, why not just make a A/Me with illusionary weapons. I think there is a thread somewhere about that but I have not heard of any reports on how good it is. A sin with 15 or so Dagger mastery can get one attack a second. And since the attacks don't hit, Dark Escape can be on so the sin will take half damage.

I've tried a sort of high dam / degen 'sin out. It's decent IMO.
Dagger Mastery 12 (minor rune)
Critical Strikes 13 (minor rune)
Shadow Arts 9 (minor rune)
Equipment: zealous daggers are very handy
Unsuspecting Strike (for high initial damage)
Fox Fangs (no evade / block)
Twisting Fangs (to get 'em bleeding)
Seeping Wound (to enhance twisting fangs' effect)
Viper's Defense (in, poison)
Death's Charge (out, heal)
Shadow Ref (heal)
Rez / Capt
It's quite good in PvP. In PvE with full group you don't get to use seeping wound very often because the opponent is dead before you get to that point You can also use viper's defense before seeping wound cos' you don't have to be so close to the foe when using it. Tell me what you think and if you have any ideas for changes to make the build better.

as stated the KD triggers falling spider. But also enemies cant attack when they are on their back. Which then leads to about 2 more seconds of assasin survivability. And it just makes people mad.
